How To Donate

Please follow the instructions below to donate and thank you very much for your contribution. Soon we will have a web facility to accept donations.

Whilst we wait for the charity registration you can donate and we can still obtain gift aid tax relief.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a government initiative that allows donations given to charity to be tax-effective. Charities are allowed to claim back the tax already paid on your donations, at no extra cost to you. At the current rate of income tax, Jack McKenzie’s Gift can claim back 25p for every £1 donated. Additionally, until April 2011, the government is also adding an extra 3p for every £1 donated to this. This enables us to claim back 28p for every £1 donated since October 2005.

In order to claim gift aid we need you to complete a gift aid declaration form. Please print this page off, complete the details and place it in a sealed envelope along with your donation (please do not send cash but use cheques or postal orders if possible made payable to “Jack McKenzie’s Gift”) and post to:

  • Jack McKenzie’s Gift
  • C/o The Treasurer
